It’s Sunday again! We had a wonderful family weekend with water play, swimming, dancing, swinging in beach-towels and eating popsicles.
Tomorrow is Spank Out Day USA – I’ll be posting something on some untruths about spanking and offering a list of alternatives as well as links to other sites that are participating in Spank Out Day.
Also coming up this week an opportunity (giveaway!) to connect with a life coach and learn more about the importance of taking time for yourself. Plus a new post with ideas for coping with toddler clingy-ness.

Alfie Kohn shares fantastic insights in a recent article: In short, the best parents acknowledge the needs of their children (as distinct from their own), learn all they can about those needs and are committed to meeting them whenever possible. And those of us who find it a struggle to do these things most of the time… need to make a point of struggling to do these things most of the time. Read more here.
Becky has a wonderful message about the positives of positive parenting in a recent post.
